Alexa and her friend Shannon, both from Vermont, were our 1st out-of-state Hipcampers.

Vermont campers portrait

We enjoyed hosting our first out-of-state campers, Alexa and her friend Shannon, both school teachers from Vermont. They decided to travel from Vermont to the Michigan peninsula for a summer adventure due to the COVID-19 quarantine and school break.

They plan to explore the rich history of Bolivar-Zoar then head to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, then on to Put-in-Bay before heading to upper Michigan.

Of course, our consummate photo bomber mascot Airbud just had to get in every picture with his ball.

If you'd like to reserve a primitive campsite on our historic private property located at the intersection on the Greenville Peace Treaty Line, Buckeye Trail, Ohio-Erie Canal Towpath Trail, Scenic Byway, and the Great American Rail-Trail visit https://www.hipcamp.com/ohio/towpath-trail-peace-park/primitive-towpath-trail-camping where you may book up to 18 months in advance with a liberal cancellation policy.

Notice

The Great Trails Festival will be the only event scheduled through 2021!

We've decided to install vending machines in the physical towpath trail snack shack for 24/7 access instead of serving lunch between 10 am to 2 pm!
