The Towpath Trail Snack Shack idea came about after several years of pondering how we could use our historic property to compliment the towpath trail easement we expected. In May 2016, my family agreed to donate a 12'-20' easement of property frontage for the towpath trail to cross. All the really cool ideas like log cabin rentals, primitive camping etc, ended adding up to a lot of money to get started. In the course of planning with local authorities after having the easement surveyed, it was determined that an old barn looking type shed wouldn't have to be moved to make way for the trail. Then the old proverbial light bulb lit up with the idea, "what if we worked on renovating the shed to become a snack shack?"

I suppose, it's only natural for a hot dog & sausage vendor to think about "what if" we'd be different by also offering wild game sausages to our hot dog & sausages menu! All of our sausages are produced by licensed and inspected facilities including what we may import. We have to order in quantities for catering or daily specials to both maintain freshness and avoid waste. The product is shipped to use packaged in dry ice to preserve quality. 7 day delivery minimum catering notice required.
Some interesting trivial we'd like you to know includes: Our Tuscarawas county is home to the top deer harvests consistently throughout Ohio! During the Revolutionary war and Ohio & Erie canal eras, smoking meats including wild game was a common form of preservation. We'd like celebrate this traditional American heritage with you!

This is our mobile menu plan required by Tuscarawas County Health Dept. for our mobile food license. We may not have everything available on our menu, at the same time, but have applied for approval to serve. Since it's public information, we thought it'll be good to maintain this master list within our on-line website presence to make it easier to comply!

On September 30th 2017, we experienced our first surprised Stark County Health Department inspection during the Canal Fulton Youth weekend at their Football association property and passed with "No violations noted at the time of inspection"!
