The Ohio-Erie Canal Towpath Trail is a great resource for runners! Long or short distance runners will enjoy getting physical exercise running to the Snack Shack.

Run to beautiful Tuscarawas county across the Stark county line on the Tuscarawas river at the Bolivar-McDonnell aqueduct trailhead! In 2013, the aqueduct bridge was built bringing the trail to the McDonnell trailhead. in 2017, continued trail dervelopment is planned to connect the last remaing gap in 2018 under the Wheeling & Laker Erie RR bridge.

This 5K run and walk is an electronically chip timed race along the scenic Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail between Fort Laurens, Bolivar and The Canal Lands Park in Zoar.  Proceeds from this race benefit development and maintenance of the Canal Lands Towpath Trail in Tuscarawas County.
