National Hot Dog Day Come visit the Towpath Trail Snack Shack & Peace Park to help us celebrate National Hot Dog Day!
The Council designates July as National Hot Dog Month; National Hot Dog Day varies year to year – in 2019 it falls on Wednesday, July 17 – based on when the North American Meat Institute hosts its annual Hot Dog Lunch on Capitol Hill.

The Towpath Trail Snack Shack is a seasonal business and is CLOSED from Labor Day through Memorial Day annually!

On September 21st 2017 We became the third Itinerant vendor licensed by the city of Canton, Ohio since 2011! We are very proud of this fact having completed all the prerequisite checks and balances of the requirements to sell within the city limits of Canton, Ohio!
LICENSE UPDATE: September 14th 2018, our Itinerant permit was approved to provide food service for the Canton Ohio Cultural Center of the Arts.

We've decided to install vending machines in the physical towpath trail snack shack for 24/7 access instead of serving lunch between 10 am to 2 pm!
